This is Clear a broke camera settings, any of the options has weird result we have to set "force load" to make work.

here two things Jim has to decide:

1. Fix the camera option for animation MB.
2. or set by default force load if he don't want to fix.

Please Bikram, I think at some points we need make sure is set as the default settings and on a smart way , better if Jim also accept some of the users requests who use the plug for a such long time and a accurate way also actually using on production.

Is really good this plug directions right now, but if he persist into do whatever he think is best and not hear ours points as customers, this will definitely go no where with once again angry customers and others leaving for better support on other render engines.

I think the all point of the beta is decide things is good for production and please customers need. Also I know this a beta and maybe unnecessary talk right now, but I would like to avoid this later one more time

Cheers,
JO
Hi Jo,

Thanks for the feedback.

We are currently investigating on this, however to get a correct Motion Blur in our new plugin we would require this workflow to set Animator data option in Octane camera as well as in the object/scene geometry. If there is a vertex animation present then the Force load must set on the Shape node and if there is animation in transformation then Force load in transform node.
Jim and I have confirmed, that it is possible to have the automatic option unable to auto-detect from time to time in rare cases. As Maya API cannot determine to return the correct information. So we would be setting manually as "Force Load".

Here is a quick Motion blur workflow with Octane Cinema 4D plugin, and this video is an example of the scenario [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_cont ... eNMd8pWBHI ] even though the host application are different. This is just to make us understand why we need to feed camera and geometry data in the engine.

The Octane object tags are applied to Octane Camera and the geometry manually in two examples to load the camera and the object's information/data to the engine. In Maya, Jim has added "Automatic" option to automise the process for faster workflow. Setting as default "force load" in camera could add extra translation step in plugin causing slowdown.

However, we are happy to try finding more options to improve the automatic feature in the future releases. Hope you will find these information useful.

Thanks again!!
Kind Regards

Hi BK,

calus found the problem or a bug, dont know. Problem with setings in camera sample per frames in transform and shape but I will sent to you the scene too.
