network error

Hi I am running C4D 3.08 with 2 licences of 3.07 stand alone.

when I set up network render I get an error stating invalid version 3.07.0 [307007]

both machines have had stand alone installed in the last couple of months and the version has not changed so I am lost as to why it has an issue.

Does running a release candidate ie 3.08 cause an issue?

any help would be good

Actually it says what's wrong: "invalid version ......."
You have to use exactly matching version on every machines

yes but the dates on the files on each install are exactly the same so they are the same install. I will reinstall the earlier one but I cant see it changing.
