Hi,

I'm currently running into a case where the results (coming from multiple GPUs / render nodes) lead to different results in the final image.
Never had this before, only thing I can remember that changed is a windows security update on the render nodes.

My first question is: is it possible to turn on some kind of debugging which shows me "which gpu or node is rendering which area of the image"?
Maybe something like "IP-Address/GPU Name" rendered into the particular part of the image. Or do all GPUs render the whole image at once (don't think so)?

As you can see in the (left) attached image, the upper left quarter is rendered slower - but the final result (on the right) is divided into two halves (right in the middle of the picture).
Also attached a closeup where you can see the split in the middle.

I'm not having these troubles when I don't use network clients.
BUT, once connected they do not disconnect properly either.

Not using the renderslaves is of course no option.

Thanks for any hints.

Hi dyrdee,
please, try to disable the Minimize net traffic option in the Kernel settings panel.

Hi beppe,

thanks for the tip and sorry for late response.

I tried the option but I had not luck. I attached my settings.
Also I have the feeling it only happens on metal. So where I set the Index option for reflection in Cinema. There is nothing visible on ie. wood.

Anything else I could check?

Thanks!

You should test it with 3.08-RC3 or later. It was a bug on netrender.
