Hi folks,
I've just transitioned to the latest LW 2108.0.3 and Octane RC3 and have got this strange issue with leaves going black / shading error.
RC02 - is fine
RC03 - is messed up
Scene files included if anyone wants to confirm this.

Nope,I get zero difference here putting IOR to 1.

Ok , but how the heck would you drive the reflectiveness of something with an IOR of 1 ? Sorry if I'm missing something here.alexos wrote:But then again. Adkkda, the IOR of glossy now defaults at 1.3, which is why it works that way. Put it back to 1 and bingo.

This problem can be related to a bug found in the RC3 glossy material:
