Hi Octane developers,

I heard many month ago (october 2013) that Karba was using a custom Forest Pack version compatible with Octane.
I tried the latest release (3.95) without success
The Forest Pack developer announced that in 4 month would have released the new version...

Also,
I'm using Dreamscape (I used it many times within Vray) to create a sailing boat.
Unfortunately Octane doesn't support the realtime waves deformation, the scene must be updated every frame (it's not a bad problem)
Then it's impossible to load the foam (bmp sequence) generated by the plugin because Octane doesn't support image sequence.

I understand you are developing better skies, flares, fogs and explosions, but the lacks of loading image sequences I think it's a priority.

The latest Forest Pro Beta supports Octane. Plus Maxwell Render and some other new engines. It has been released in Dec. For me it works very nice what I've seen so far.
No more instancite and slow viewports! :)

And talking about instances and other plugins...some kind of native proxy object would be cool, and also support for the materials of those plugins such as forest materials and so...Please ;)
