Lightwave 2018, Octane Render 3.08.-7 RC1
I have made a custom buffer for my floor. I now want to render a pass for reflection that only uses the floor. Where do I do this? I've watched many C4D videos and they assign the surface an ID similar to Lightwave Special Buffer old way but I see no where to assign an ID number to anything.
Here are images of surface and Render Edit as a guide to what I presently have set up. As you can see in the background, VPR see's the Custom buffer.

Thanks in advance,

Hi,

The LW2018 buffers system is not going to work with Octane for sure. For this kind of workflow, I think that you could try to use the Octane render layers feature.

Thanks Juan. Let me wrap my head around its use but this should suffice.

Thank you,
