Camera zooms in on second frame and locks into a close-up. The camera is animated and tracks correctly in Unity mode.

I'm going to need a bit more information.

What camera is your rendertarget set to?
Does the camera transform change, or is it something else (eg FoV)?

I guess it is the first 6 frames align with the editor camera. The recording camera is set to the same camera in Unity and the Game view is selected

We tried to recreate the issue, but we need more information, like how your camera animation is set up (attached to object, cinemachine, etc).

Camera animated in the animation panel. How do the frames correspond? Is it based on the projected fps?

Is frame 0 or frame 1 correct?

Cannot get the recorded render to match the moving camera. Camera settings attached.

Can you render a dummy frame at t=0 as a workaround?

Recorded camera is zoomed in. Can you provide a simple Unity project with a moving camera?
