Hi,
I have an issue: if I unhide an object during rendering, rhino and octane go in freezing for several seconds...sometimes even minutes. Even if i change the dimension of the texture (in the texture maps window of rhino).
Do you know why?
thanx
Render Freezing

I best guess is that this is due to the time to reload and voxellise large mesh objects in Octane. Does it happen with low polygon mesh objects?

Hi Paul,
it doesn't happen with low polygon mesh. In the future, is it possible to fix it? I mean to reload not all the scene but only the object I unide or I modify?

I suspect the way the Rhino5 material event system is working that all Mesh objects with the material you replaced are being reloaded. The Rhino6 render queue will potentially resolve this issue. I will hopefully have it implemented in the next month or two.
