I cannot see much differences on textures. Most is about lighting. Propably not about plugin side. Because i haven't changed codes which can affect this. There's some changes between 3.08 vs. 3.07 for emissions, etc...martincarlson wrote:So, I made a scene in latest 3.07 and now opened it and rendered with latest 3.08 RC1.
I see differences in textures - something has fucked up. And I don't have a clue what. I also spot difference in overall brightness in image. Will send you the scene in PM Ahmet!

Hi again.
I have been wondering about this already for a long time.
Again in my current project I use the "Octane Volume" Object to make clouds. Is there a way to make multicolored clouds like in the image below?
I am looking for something like a spacial color gradient for the clouds.

I believe volume gradient can help u achieve something similar.momade wrote:Hi again.

Oh. Volume gradient? Where is this at?
Hi Ahmet,
with this new Version 3.08 RC1 I cannot navigate (within a simple start scene)
when live viewer is running.
It lags like hell.
I'm on Win 7 64.
With 3.07 and nvidia driver 9077 it runs smooth.
Think I have to go back to 3.07.
O.K. seams that my start scene "new" was not working anymore with 3.08 RC1
Don't know why, but after saving a new one now its working like before.
Not solved!!!!!!
When inside an octane camera LV hangs. I cannot navigate in viewport.
When leaving the octane camera and looking through standard camera its working!
Thats really strange!
Ahmet,
could you please check this:
when activating "camera imager" in the camera tag, it starts hanging
and behaving totally corious.
thanks
regards
Mike
