Hi, is this the stable release? thanks
RC stands for Release Candidate.thanulee wrote:Hi, is this the stable release? thanks
Typically the release(s) just before the final.
OSX 10.12.4 | Intel 12 core @ 3.33 ghz | 128 gb ram | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080TI | Ubuntu Linux slave with 3x 1080ti
Maybe but cannot reproduce. Please try with environment object.VVG wrote:Thx for the update Ahmet.

there were a lot of changes/additions. I think there may be a few RC versions before this is rock solid.niestudio wrote:RC stands for Release Candidate.thanulee wrote:Hi, is this the stable release? thanks

Great thanks a lot! Unfortunately cant test it in middle of projects. I ll wait for stable.
I hope everybody don't think like that and makes some feedback. Otherwise i'm not a machine to detect whole scenarios under countless hardware setups and define as stabile.thanulee wrote:Great thanks a lot! Unfortunately cant test it in middle of projects. I ll wait for stable.

So u expect people that work in real projects with real clients from their studios to test the beta?
This is one of the ways how we did until now. Every companies need feedbacks to improve stuff.thanulee wrote:So u expect people that work in real projects with real clients from their studios to test the beta?

Think I found a bug.
If, in rendering settings, I set a image color profile (say Adobe1998 instead of sRGB) and render an image it renders out fine, but if I then enable Octanes render passes and render a layer mask the main output image ignores the Adobe1998 color profile and instead uses sRGB.

Ofc every product needs testing.
FYI, beta testing is actually a paid job. I wonder what gives u the impression people have the obligation to do it for free, cause the way u put it about my thinking, is clearly what u imply here.
For better or worse, if something happens to me and wont deliver on deadline due to software issues, u wont be the one that the client will blame though. Simple logic applies here.
