export to stand alone

Could anyone help me with something?
I have octane stand alone.
How do i export from blender (as i dont have blender plugin) to octane stand alone?

Hi,

You can try the old exporter but it hasn't been updated in a while.

Another option would be to export your scene as a .obj file and export your textures as images. Then in Octane load it in and build the textures using the images. Pretty simple for small scenes, kind of painful for large ones.

Try Blender's .obj or .abc export formats.

The point is: blender plugin is for the users that wanna solve inside Blender.

Standalone, lets the user do it, outside blender.

Since its a paid plugin, i think at least an updated version.

With Octane 4 it looks like the Blender plugin will be free (up to 2 GPUs), so problem solved. :D
