So I have some pretty big scenes (for me) that sometimes take 20-60 seconds to load up. When I get this big I still like to pop in and tweak textures as they relate to other things in the scene.
Currently the only way to do Sel Only IPR is to load IPR and quickly press Sel Only, if it wasn't already checked. This is a bit wierd, as I would typically want to select an object and then open IPR with Selected Only already checked.
It would be very nice to have a button for IPR Sel Only on the menu and a regular IPR Full or whatever. Maybe this can happen in the future...with script currently? Thanks for any thoughts.
Better way to "IPR Selected Only" Feature Request

That would be great. Just a small tweak to work flow! Thanks.juanjgon wrote:I can add a new command that you could add to the menu or map to a key to open the IPR in the selected only mode. Should be easy

In the next plugin build there are going to be two new commands to open the IPR with the "selected only" option always enabled or disabled.

Did this make the RC build update for 2018? I'm not seeing it anywhere. Also, unless I'm reading this wrong, it would be a much better solution for my needs to have as originally described above, a command that could be mapped to open IPR with selected or IPR full. As having a default option is probably a nice thing, it doesn't get away from the long load issue I have when I'm wanting to go from one to the other. If I was using selected before...and now I want to load the entire scene or vice versa I must wait for the scene to load and then uncheck/check SEL only.
Thanks for the update to 2018, it's been a long time coming...and I know it's been bad for you too, since you had no control but had to endure the frustration, from me and others!

Have you added the plugin again to your LightWave? You must remove the old plugin and add the new one to get the new commands (remember to remove the master plugin before updating it).
This is how it works, you have two commands that you can map to a key or add to the menu branch ... one will open the IPR in selected objects mode only and the another one will open the IPR in full scene mode, without switching the mode in the IPR window.
Thanks,
-Juanjo

Yea I installed in 2018 fresh. How you describe it would be perfect. I did see the command under the additional/utilities but initially it did not do anything.juanjgon wrote:Have you added the plugin again to your LightWave? Let me try again with a restart or something. Sounds like it should work as expected. Thanks for the reply.
