Hi nico_cad,
Transferal of licenses is not permitted under the terms and conditions of the Software License Agreement (EULA).
As detailed in the EULA advises that Licenses account may not be resold or transferred.

I'm curious: why not just buy a license?

I mean, I can understand trying to catch the disgruntled during this lull for cheaper price, I guess...

we have bought this week second license of LW2018 from other user and accepted from Lightwave without problem.
