Hi guys, recently downloaded some great textures from poliigon.com

Would anyone happen to know how I would use an overlay map in octane? what node should it be in?

It's mostly things like dust/smudge maps and they're greyscale images.

Thanks,
Kelvin

Hi Kelvin,
do you mind to post some screenshots?
I have tried to find an example on the site, without success.
From what you are saying, it seems usefull in the amount of a mix material, or a mix texture node.

Hi franchais,
this kind of maps are very handful, and can be used directly in roughness, specular, bump, film width, ecc, or mixed with something else, with multiply, add, substract, ecc nodes, or in the amount of a mix texture/mix material.
