There is a problem I am facing regarding r&d with the materials.
When I mess with the material's textures I cannot return back to original results.
Let me explain and i wish you all to tell me the right procedure..

1- I create a material from scratch. Lets say Glossy Material.
2- I put a MIX TEXTURE map to roughness channel. A map with gray, white and black in it.
just to create a partly-shiny surface. I put float textures to the 2 texture channel of the mix node.

3- I cannot achieve the desired effect since the original roughness channel is a FLOAT TEXTURE.
But with many zeros after dot. ( 0.0000001 ) to (1.0000000)

4- I give up and I tried to return to the original settings. But the new FLOAT texture that i link the roughness channel gives values of 0.001 to 1.000 where 0.000 returns black material..

In short..
How can I Create a float texture node with wide rage of decimals after " 0. " ?

Please share your knowledge. Thanks.

Ok.
Here is what i temporary found a wat out to solution.
I managed to save the roughness node as it's in the original glossy material.
I can now connect the roughness node to the messed up material and return to my old material.

if there is any answer beyond this please share.

Thanks
