Hello,
I am trying to control hair length using an image and projection through the C4d hair shader, but it seems octane does not recognise projection methods through the hair shader. Is this a bug or non supported with octane V3?
c4d hair image length
It should not be an issue if you're just using it for controlling th hair geometry. It reads output geometry data from C4D functions. Have you checked it by standard renderer?phatpixels wrote:Hello,

Hello,
Using the c4d hair shader, with octane image works to control length, but the issue is the projection tab has no effect in octane. Spherical, cylindrical, cubic nothing happens. Does not recognise projection. Unless I'm missing something.
Works fine with standard shader.

Did you read what i mean exactly? Results of geometry should not be a problem here. For getting better answer please put your setup rather than words. So i'll check. Thanks!
