EVGA 1080ti SC2 vs FTW3 ?

Hi,

Just wondering if there’s much difference between the EVGA 1080ti Hybrid SC2 & FTW3 ?
Found a little info regarding gaming but nothing about GPU rendering.

Ftw3 is hard to find in UK at the moment & would retail at £850. The SC2 is currently available and is cheaper £780.

Should I wait for the ftw3 or just get the sc2 ?

No need to wait, take the cheaper one which is avilable now, they will both boost about 2GHZ anyway and difference in octane rendering will be marginal/maybe 1% or 3% of you overlock it more. All those Pascal chips are pretty much in range of 2-2.05 GHz overlcocking for rock stable. Very rare ones g to 2.1GHz but even 2.05 vs 2.1GHz won't make 70 GBP difference .
