Hello,
I recently discovered Octane and I tried to experiment a bit with the demo. But as the thread topic already says, I have a question regarding transparency maps and shadows the objects with such maps applied are casting.
In the screenshot attached, there is a simple test I performed with a square plane that has a floatimage transparency map applied to it. But the shadow it is casting is... square - so the opacity map does not affect the shadow.
Is this normal? Or is this a limitation of the demo? Or, am I missing something - doing something wrong?
Thanks for any info.

Edit:
I did read the release notes posted at the download page but I did not see this in there... But again thanks for letting me know so at least I'm not on a chase for a ghost here...
