Hi! How would I create a translucent shiny plastic tarp type material? Something like those blue tarps you use to cover wood or other things. I tried making a mix mat of a diffuse SSS material and a shiny mat, but it just doesnt look right. Heres a pic of something im going for:

as a base for your mixmat try using a diffuse material with transmission, using a map in the transmission map slot that defines areas where there might be seams etc -
