Hi, so i am looking for suggestions for a render farm for using c4d and octane. I ve found some stuff online, and i was wondering if its usual to install ur plugins and ur licences on the farm. I find it a bit weird to use my personal licences, never had to do this with rebus one time i had to use it some years ago.
So hit me with suggestions plz. Im not sure if i could use this ORC thing, or is it only for standalone?

thanks a lot

Orc works with all plugins and even synces scenes with cloud - but always make sure your scene exports to ORBX correctly and renders locally in standalone, because that is how your ORC render will look. ORC also gives you a floating BYO license for use on a remote machine (your normal license/EULA is for your personal PC only), i.e an aws AMI.

Thanks, but i think with so many stuff i use from simulations to dynamics, exporting isnt this simple. I d prefer a solution from c4d.
Although i never tried it, but im pretty sure is not gonna be 1 click :D

I can personally recommend https://www.animarender.com.

Probably the most expensive option - £200 for 25hrs - 800 ob, however; the customer service is incredible - 24/7 support via Skype, remote nodes with all software/plugins preinstalled.

If you have spare licenses - https://www.leadergpu.com are by far the best value - around 317.50 € per week for around 800ob machine (4x1080ti) remote access.

You can use our FORRENDER.com

Give promocode - charlytutors and you will get 15% discount for the each order.

But this discount, as if life-long and accumulates from the amount you spend.
That is, by giving a promotional code to our managers - you will receive a 15% discount on every order. + The more often you use the farm, the percentage increases with time. The maximum lifetime discount is 60%

We have the lowest prices among the all rendererfarms. The ability to work through a remote desktop, teamviewer or using an application on the site - to send the tasks.

Good luck!

Best regards, Andrew.
