Otoy® is proud to announce the availability of a new version of OctaneRender™ for Maya®
The world's fastest and most feature-rich unbiased render engine that integrates completely into Autodesk® Maya®.

Maya® Version Requirements

This release will work with Maya® Versions 2016, 2016.5, 2017 and 2018 64-bit on MS Windows operating systems, 2016, 2016.5, 2017 and 2018 64-bit on Linux operating systems, and 2016, 2016.5, 2017 and 2018 64-bit on OSX operating systems (including and above 10.9).

COMPATIBILITY AND OCTANERENDER STANDALONE REQUIREMENT

To run OctaneRender™ for Maya®, you need to also have an activated OctaneRender™ Standalone copy activated on the machine you wish to install the plugin onto.
You cannot purchase and use only the Maya plugin and use it without also owning an activated copy of Octane Render™ Standalone on your machine.

Please note that the motion blur improvement would be embedded on the refactored version to be released in the near future

has anybody been using this yet--how's the stability looking so far on this test release?

We tested, quite a lot for me all good so far of course still old bugs, but this should be fixed on the refractory version.

We tested, quite a lot for me all good so far of course still old bugs, but this should be fixed on the refractory version.

Any ETA for 3.08?
I have a project that I would like to test the anisotropic shader\texture ;)

I only change difuse rendering base octan to cartoon in AE :cry: ,SO what is the time :D

Hey, Blackshore,
Unfortunately, no ETA yet for 3.08 implementation.
It would probably after we have a 3.07 stable version of the refactored Octane for Maya.
