I successfully installed Unity 2017.1.0f3 and ran the simple Octane sample following the online instructions.

I created a new project and imported the Courtyard example, installed Octane, loaded Octane successfully but when I go to activate using the PBR Render Target I get the following error message:

This build is not supported anymore. Please update to a newer version.

I checked the settings and my OctaneUnity version and it is 1.0.0.963 and the Octane version is 3.06.6, Tier1

I originally attempted to load the Caustics example in Unity 2017.2 but I couldn't get the license to activate.

Is this a problem with the Unity version I have installed or the OctaneUnity plugin?

Thanks for any help,

Neil

Hi Neil. Support for 1.0.0.963 has expired, please update your Octane to 1.1.0.1074.

Works like a charm now. I received a notification last week about the Unity samples being updated. I upgraded to Unity 2017.2.0f3 and all the sample assets and scenes loaded and rendered in Octane!
