I'm asking because recently im having huge lag issues navigating the UI of daz when putting my mesh subdivision level at max (3). I wanna be able to easily move around the DAZ UI without worrying about losing detail in the actual render.

Below mesh subdivision level is a Render SubD level which i can adjust but i'm not sure if that actually applies to octane or if it only applies to IRAY. Can anyone confirm?

Unfortunately it only works for iray. Octane uses the viewport subD :(

Hi guys, whats the status on this as it seems to be quite a big issue due to performance reasons working on high subd levels in viewport. Not to mention that on some models I can go to SubD 4 in IRAY whereas its not possible for viewport settings (actually it is if you unlock limits but it will basically freeze your computer).
