Hello, I've just bought this amazing plugin for a few days.
I write about this forum where I found it solely to congratulate @pxlntwrk and for two questions :)
Will the displacement feature be available in the upcoming updates for those who have already purchased the plugin?
The other question is more of a feature request :) it would be spectacular to have a tab named Wet (or like @pxlntwrk will want to choose) for wet surfaces;) would be a dream !!!

Sorry for my bad english :)

Cheers

yes of course ,we are at this moment even preparing the release of the update with ThePixelLab.net

it is not yet planned, but you can already try to simulate wet materials with a glossy / specular material in the scratches or high coat layer for example

ciao!

Hi there Octane pros !

So I bought the pixel dirt plugin and so far i'm really enjoying it ...

Still i have a few questions about it ...

- First I noticed that using the plugin seems to really slow down the usability of the c4D viewer ... Is this normal ?

- Secondly I'd like to know if it is possible to dirt the edges of a sticker somehow like with the dirt shader of Octane, and not only dirt the core of the image all over with the noise (in the image below i'd like to grunge a little the edge of the japanese flag for instance)... If its not possible , is it something that could be implemented in future updates ?

-Thirdly, when I had a sticker on top of mesh with pixel dirt, it appears that the texture is visible in the c4d Gouraud Shading display mode , when it is not without the pixeldirt add on ... Am I doing something wrong. Is it possible to have all the textures visible normaly in the c3D display .

And well thanks again for that plugin I'm really enjoy !

(By the way the model has been designed from "the three ghosts of Tesla" our french comics , in orde to work on a teaser for the release of album 2 in march 2018 ...)

hi rmara,

1)I noticed this since little time, it may be due new graphic drivers? or some changes in the Octane plugin( what is your version?), i dont know yet, I have to investigate ...

2)I think its not possible easily in this state, and this is good idea for next time ;)

3) its difficult to deal ideally with c4d viewer... i will take a look.

thanks and sorry for those little troubles

cheers

Ps/ if you want you can send me the scene via PM , so that I look if all is well?
