Hi
we have an underwater scene in the kitchen sink. WE have some air bubble. Do I need to leav IOR like water for them as 1.33/ It still does not look right. Using shell modifier made it worse. IOR set as 1 they disappears. We trying to make them look like air underwater and like a bubble with IOR of 1 on a surface like vray does

Also how can we get underwater look. Camera is inside water mesh with IOR set to 1.33 but still looks like air Thank you!

Hi coilbook,
Since air is optically rarer than water, the ray of light bends away from the normal at the point of incidence when moving from water to air while it bends towards the normal while moving from air to water.
The normal at any point of a spherical bubble will pass through the center of the bubble.
Try using same water material and invert bubbles geometry normal.
Regard
Paride

I like what paride offered there..

I usually go with "what looks good", but technically it should be air.. but.. yeah, try the above first
