Volume Alpha Channel Issue

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has encountered this issue. My volume looks completely different without the alpha channel box checked than with it checked.

Attaching image for, let me know if you've encountered the same thing. I noticed if I turned the density to a really high number I could get some definition back but not all of it.

I've also tried the Render Layer method but still encounter the same issue. Does anyone have more experience with Volumes and Alpha Channels that would be willing to share some advice?

Hi Eyestormproductions,
it seems that the extra alpha channel in the beauty layer is cutting some details with volumes.
Since the pixels are already transparent in all the channels, try to disable the alpha channel in the beauty pass:
