Hi,
I have a problem rendering a object that uses a texture sequence.
Octane keeps loading the first image of the sequence. I guess it has to do with the texture exported with the .obj file..?
Is there a way to make it work...?
Cheers,

unfortunately thats not possible with obj/mtl format,
i think that the same thing is with octane too, that means its not possible to load image seq, but maybe im wrong...
cheers

First of all...Thanks for even making the plug-in!
If it isn't possible now... I certainly hope it wil become possible!
It is something pretty common in 3d animation.
If the .mtl file could be updated each time it loads the next frame from maya. This should do the trick...I guess..? Would it be possible?
Isn't this wat happens with the mesh in the .obj file when rendering a sequence? Way wouldn't it be possible for the texture in the .mtl file...?
I can imagine you don't want this when your not using a texture sequence. But if you do... It would be a nice option to make texture sequences work with octane!

ur welcome
i could try, well i think that mtl should update from frame to frame, i think that obj exporter doesnt understand the seq flag on file node
so it will export 1st file texture for every frame, let me not saying stupid things and let me check
cheers
