I have a regular license for Octane (Standalone and Rhino plugin), downloaded the previous build of OctaneRender for Unity on a laptop and was working "fine". After that I uninstalled both Octane and Unity from that laptop (and logged off via the standalone app) and now that I am trying to Load Octane in Unity on a desktop (newly released version) it gives me the error shown in the image - the 'GBYTE-P57-01' I'm assuming is my Gigabyte laptop.

I have gone on to the Live page and it all shows up as Deactivated, the Standalone version and the Rhino Plugin are working just fine, it is only the Unity one that doesn't let me log in. Any help on this? I'm a bit stuck

As of today I have the same problem. If I install Octane in a new Project and then hit Settings/Load Octane I get the same screen 'Could not find the required licence'. I have no choice but to hit Cancel and Unity crashes.

An existing project with Octane already installed seems to work ok still ...

did you check the status of the license in your OctaneLive Supscription page?

Hi Beppe,

I don't have any OctaneLive Subscription. I only have Regular licenses, and nothing appears on my subscription page

I have managed to copy/adapt an existing Unity project with Octane already loaded (licence) and get Octane to work.

But all attempts to add Octane to a newly created project have failed. Any idea yet why this problem has arisen?

I would try doing that, but the project I had it working on is already deleted, and was on a computer that doesn't have neither Unity nor Octane anymore... Not sure how to solve this, haven't managed to make it work yet and am pretty stuck. Tried uninstalling and re-installing software without success.

I contacted the Otoy team via help request ticket and I have it all working now. Steps are as follow :

1) Go to your profile and access "View/Update Otoy Account"
2)Go to "Linked Accounts" > click on the Unity button below "Add Linked Accounts" and enter your Unity credentials when prompted to do so
3) Once linked, try restarting and running Unity again, and run the Octane plugin. This should "trigger a reset" and now the OctaneVR subscription should be visible under your Subscriptions page with it's unlock option and your OctaneRender for Unity should be able to log you in .

Hope it works for you as well, not sure if the Otoy team did something to my account prior to following this steps but so far it's all working normally again.

Cheers,
Andres

Thanks for the suggestion, Andres - I tried what you suggested but it hasn't worked for me.

My Octane Standalone licence shows as deactivated as well. Not sure what is going on - I have sent a Support Request ...
