Hi,
I've been unable to successfully get any scene to work with orthographic camera views in Octane. Whenever I use the typical perspective view its fine, the moment I turn ortho mode on in the C4D camera, the view showed in the live viewer gets weird distortion and doesn't project properly. I've applied an octane camera tag to the camera object and selected the "orthographic" feature under thinlens. Screenshot attached of what I see in my cinema internal viewport vs live viewer – would love to get true orthographic views working !
Issues with Ortho Camera

Hi ajiblock,
please, create a new octane camera, rotate in prospective mode as needed, then enable only the Orthographic option in the Octane Camera Tag, not the c4d option, it should work as expected.

Thanks so much for your help & response. Unfortunately it is not working as expected. I am trying to reproduce a true top view othrographic and a true Isomeitrc camera. I can get it close but not truly accurate to what would be produced by the C4D camera. Additionally, when I enable orthographic on the Octane camera I lose the ability to zoom in and out in Z space (which is possible in all C4D orthographics and Isometric views) which makes it unusable.
Hi ajiblock,
please, set the Focal lenght at 50mm, then correct the Focal distance to zoom in/out: ciao beppe

Hi ajiblock,
sorry, I forgot to mention that you can also change the value of the Pixel aspect ratio, to match a particular projections.
