Hi NICK,
ORC service is public now, you need to purchase a specific ORC subscription for using it:
https://home.otoy.com/render/octane-ren ... criptions/

Hi bepeg4d!
thx for ur answer.
So Cloud Rendering is only for VR+AR? Why?
I thought ORC is a Renderfarm for Octane Animation isn't it?
greets,

Hi NICK,
we know that the OctaneVR name is confusing, and it will be changed in future.
The fact is that this type of version has been offered at the time of the Metaverse competition, then the name has stayed.
But OctaneVR is only the name for the subscription license scheme, basically you can do the exact thing that you can do with the commercial version, not only VR/AR.

It is VERY confusing! To be honest, if I had known that I probably would have gone that way rather than the lump sum.
