Hi,
I made this image for my book, but I'm not satisfied. It is a commercial image in mind... so can't make drama effects.
Thanks

Hi HHbomb,
wow, very good image, but I would like to see another version with less FOV/distortion, if possible, and a little bit of DOF, especially for the outside, the white glass line in the balcony is a bit annoying, in my opinion.
ciao beppe

Hi,

The last version is the best so far. The chair at the front was a good addition.
Here´s my comments:
- The carpet looks too thick and weird sized. Normally there would be equal amount of wood floor on each side of the sofa but now it´s under the sofa at the end and not touching sofa on the right.
- I would change the weird sticks with red berries on the coffee table to some nice flower
- Definetly add some DOF. The front chair and the flower at the balcony should not be in focus
- I think you should raise the background a bit
- I would open couple of balcony windows
- I think this kind of large and expensive house should have a bigger dining table. Now it only has 4 chairs. Maybe add another four.
- I hate the dining table ceiling light. Do you have a better one?
- I think the white "thing" on the left side blocks the dining area too much. Maybe move it a bit or make it smaller.
- Make the Morrison-painting bigger and move it a bit off the wall (0,5cm)
- There seems to be an evening sun shining. I would like to see a more dramatic feel, especially on the ceiling and ot the sofa side where there is no direct sun light. Make the scene a bit less lit and turn on the lights.

and by more dramatic I meant something like this:

The carpet can also be under the sofa but then I think it should be under the sofa at both sides, not just at one side.

Really lovely image. I think in the end it boils down to everyone's personal taste. I think Builtdown's edit is nice, but a little too saturated for me. The addition of the chair is really a nice touch making the image feel more complete.
