Octane & Turbulence FD

Can Octane use the BCF cached files from Turbulence FD?
I'm currently using an object tag directly on the TFD Container object, but the results aren't great. When comparing to Arnold, the detail is lost and looks quite bad. Can we use the BCF files with an Octane Volume object perhaps to get better results? what is the best work flow for Turbulence FD? Thanks in advance. We are using the latest versions of both Octane and TFD with OS X and C4D R18.
