Scatter Object "Keep Away" not working?

Just curious, have any of you had great response with using the Scatter Object, but the second you change the "Keep Away" from 0 to 1 or anything else the Octane performance screeches to a halt and even freezes for awhile? It's almost un useable for me. Let me know if anybody has had a similar problem, or if this is just me? Thanks!
Be carreful with this value. Try to start from bigger numbers if it's stucking due high cpu usage. It's very expensive formula on some meshes and numbers of clones.
