Another deadline, more problems for me. Problem is I have these problems every time, then I lose 2 days trying to get Octane stable and have to render on low samples. Not sure how much longer I can go on like this!
Doing backflips when it gets to frame 633(which is 6th frame in preview range in file) system goes into meltdown in task manager (see above image) My memory hits the ceiling, it's a simple scene with some dynamics. I have posted about this many times before.
I have just installed latest Nvidia driver, so 384.94 and just uninstalled latest Octane standalone and back dated to previous version...Did the same with plugin so I knew versions matched. Still same issue persists.
I just can't get it stable for rendering animation.
If it's memory I will buy new components I just want answers as to what this could be if it's hardware.
I baked dynamics and mograph fracture so it's not an update issue. I didn't include the cache in the file as it made it too big to post on here, it doesn't take long to cache so you can try that.
Please try scene see if it works for you?
Never successfully rendered a project/animation with Octane and been using for around a year.
