Is there a way to render an ordinary native modo volume item using octane? I have looked at Pauls tutorial on using the VDBvoxel node to load a .VDB item and I can get that to work fine but what I'm trying to do is render a native simulation with volume items.
For example, take a simple scene with a radial emitter into a Particle Simulation node into a volume item and then cache the simulation.
How would I render the results in Octane?
I have tried piping the Particle Sumulation node into the 'source' channel of the VDBVoxel node but that didn't work.
Render native modo volume item (not imported VDB file)?

Hi - this should work - although the Voxel grid resolution is taken from the first frame, so if the simulation starts very small, there could be a resolution problem. Have you watched https://youtu.be/0pTMl5G5sJU? Feel free to send me your Modo scene and I will take a closer look.

Thanks.
Here is the scene.

Edit: Yes I checked the youtube tutorial. It works fine. The problem is when trying to render native volume items sourced from a native particle simulation, i.e. not a vdb item I have on file imported via the vdbvoxel node.

Thanks for providing the scene. Unfortunately this is not working right for you due to a bug in the plugin, which I have now fixed in the next release. There are also some issues with the transform of the volume, which you can see if you select Volume_CornerTouch - it is positioned at the scene origin rather than over the torch.
