I'm working on a series of product renders, higher resolution stills, on a Mac Pro running OSX using a 980ti. It's the only card in the mac so is also driving the display.
I'm an Octane subscription user running c4d r18.
I keep getting render intermittent failures and the log says I don't have enough free vram.
However the stats say I'm using 1.1GB, 3.3GB is free, and the card has 6GB total.
I've switched on out of core textures as some of them are quite large.
I can fix things by rebooting the mac - then it will render fine for a couple of times, then it seems to get clogged up again, and I get a render failure and have to restart.
Anything I can do?
PS hopefully someone will answer this time, my last two posts have got nowhere...
