I wonder - is anything like Genesis 3 Female(s) Wet Body or Hair Lustre Shaders for Iray useful for Octane?
I'm aware they would need manual adjustments in the plugin, but are they useful in any way? did someone play around with these in Octane?

The wet skin one should be usable, since it's based on modifying a geoshells using specular and transparacy maps. You could start with a water material from the Octane library, apply those maps and ignore the Iray Shader.

We have asked NVIDIA to provide an open source MDL compiler, so we can look into making it a full integrated part of Octane (and support it in ORBX) like OSL, rather than a module or have to use baked texture fallbacks as we do now.
