Hello,
This is kinda a feature request but I don't know if something like this already exists in octane. If it does kindly ignore the post.
I recently tried out arnold 5 and I saw some very interesting change in their noise sampling method. Upon a basic Google search I found that they implemented something called blue noise dithered sampling which is essentially a more uniform sampling method.
I'm not a programmer so I don't understand a lot of it but The improvement in image quality at the same number of samples is very impressive. I was wondering if octane uses this technique or if something like this can be implemented in octane in a future version.
