I just tried working with Simplygon and making displacement maps for the first time.

When I bring the geometry into Octane, the displacement map shows up on my first map (map1), but not onto the others. I believe it's related to the channels, but I'm not sure. I've attached my node layout and an image of the baked map.

These are the results and my 3ds Max screen showing the UVWs and the original geometry. You can see the map on the left is broken up.

If you look closer, it's got traces of the displacement map on it.

This is my map2, it looks normal, but there were a few black spots in Unity at the corners. I'm more worried about map 1 above.

Could anyone help me out? I can send files if required. I'm mostly new with displacement maps and channels in 3ds Max.

Hi SamuelAB,
Watching your Marks.jpg screenshot, it looks like you made wrong unwrpap.
There seems to be polygons overlapping in black areas.
I think your glitch render issue depends on polygons overlapping.

Thanks for the tip Paride. The unwrap was one in Simplygon. I will play with it some more.
