Would the plugin work with Maya LT?

Unfortunately, we do not support Maya LT yet. Octane render for Maya plugin is only running on Maya 2015, 2016, 2016.5 and 2017.

Didn't think so. We are only using maybe 20% of the program for our needs so we're looking into LT to same some $$. LT support of course shouldn't be a priority by any means, at least until things are hashed out with the main Maya plugin. We're still holding on to that glimmer of hope that the plugin will be better designed and more functional in the future.

I think Maya LT is made especially for game development, so it doesn't even support rendering.

Why did you buy Maya LT when you can get 2016 full version second hand for the same price as LT? It was the last version that was sold (not sub).
