New chips, new hardware, oh dear

Anyone have any thoughs on the new EPYC processor from AMD? I'm pretty excited about it, looks like it might make a nice base for a GPU station..

With the new stuff from Intel coming on the horizon seems like later this year will be a good time to upgrade the system.

I gotta tell ya, I'm pretty damn impressed with the 128 PCIe 3.0 lanes!! Ye Gods! I imagine Intel will be going this route too... Yeah, I'll be swapping mobo and cpu in the not-too-distant-future...
