Hello,
I have been trying out octane from a week and it sounds very promising.
I have a small question.

I am aware the dispersion is not yet implemented in the program.
But, is it possible to produce a material with 3 different refraction values ? More like blending 3 different material with slightly different IOR values ?? I am aware its possible with post compositing but is there any solution to do it directly with material using some node graph editor ?

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Regards

Hi,

Not at this time, you can only blend textures with the nodes, there's no material level blending yet.

Thanks for quick reply.
I will be looking forward for the dispersion feature in the first official release.
Is it going to be implemented in the next release of beta version ?

Hi,

We are not sure yet, probably not in 2.3.
We have enough on our list for 2.3 currently.
