Hello Juan-
We are experiencing what others on the forum have discussed concerning multiple TFD containers. We have tried adjusting the step length and density, but we are still getting a lot of artifacting in the overlap areas. Is there a tried and true method that we can adhere to so that each container will be able to render with the others? A best-practices list that we can make sure we adhere to in creating our simulations and setting up our volumetric nodes in Octane?
thanks

Multiple TFD Containers overlap errors

Hi,
In the Octane 3.0 release notes there is a topic about the volumes overlapping:
"Multiple volumes are fully supported, as are overlapping volumes. However, up to a maximum of 4 volumes can overlap in any one position. This decision was a trade off to allow any number of instanced volumes while still keeping performance high."
I'm not sure if this can be the problem that you have with TFD ...
Thanks,
-Juanjo
