Otoy really needs community manager. There are many unanswered questions in bug reports and on other sections too.

I always try my very best to help coordinate and connect community feedback to the right members of the dev team if no one else does. A proper CM would be great eventually, but in the meantime I am here to help out where I can on the forums.

It would be nice to see some kind of outline of what is planned for the plugin without dates or something. I'd like to see some better HDRI controls (similar to Sibl: http://www.hdrlabs.com/sibl/sibl-edit.html - but with control over how much blur to apply to the hdri as well).

I don't think CM is needed. What is needed is for the developer of the Blender plugin to spend 1-2 hours a week responding to the bug reports and questions. The developer for the Blender plugin has not done any customer support in months. That to me is not an acceptable situation. Compare that to the support from Cinema 4D or Modo where questions get answer usually in 24 hours.

I don't think you can map Blender to C4D/Modo development, they are very different due to the burdens and resources spent working around Blender GPL. With every update we make to OR Blender, we also need to build a new custom Blender, post changes we make to custom blender publicly for GPL compliance etc. it's a lot of time and work that could be better spent on the core plug-in work.
