I need to try adaptive sampling in blender octane for a scene ive been working on because I think this scene could highly benefit from it and I wana try it before i upgrade from v2 to v3. I cant seem to find a octane server demo v12 which is supposed to have adaptive sampling in blender octane edition, the server and blender app seem to have to be both the same version, 12. I can see blender octane edition 3.06, but no octane server demo in the forum posts.
Please get back to me asap Id like to try it today quickly.

why don't you export to Standalone? The demo is already updated to 3.06.2:

Adaptive sampling works in the same way in any plugin and Standalone based on the same SDK.

The Adaptive Sampling Integration in Blender at the moment is at least in my opinien very experimental.
You can't interactively switch between noise pass and beauty pass without retriggering the rendering.
Ain't very useful. The Samples of the noise pass can't be increased above 1024 samples.
