Live preview on 3.06 Win C4D freezes

Hello forum,

I'm having a big problem with the live preview freezing after a couple of seconds and sometimes if i click in the preview window or on the Settings tab it moves again but then freezes again.

I'm using the OctaneVR (3.06), on a Windows 10 machine with 1 GTX 1080 Ti and AMD Ryzen 1800X CPU.

Seems to be the same problem on all kernels but Path Tracing is the one I need to work right now.

On of the biggest reasons I'm going Octane is because I need the fast previews so this is a big problem...

What are we talking about? Heavy or simple scenes? Do you have one gpu and a new type of cpu. Do you have render priority activated on gpu and selected LOW?

The scene is not heavy, just a background sweep and a few editable ojects.

It's a new GPU - GTX 1080 Ti (one GPU) and also a new CPU the AMD Ryzen 1800X. Sometimes it works and then it stops working.

Don't know. Maybe amd cpu or drivers.
