Hi,
I'm trying every possible way to get some simple subsurface scattering (wax like) but no matter what I do I just can't get it to work.
I'm using the PMC kernel with a lot of depth (just to be sure)
Than I'm throwing the Diffuse material on the object (closed object of a statue), followed by a Scattering Medium.
Now, no matter at what string I pull or what variable I change it just won't show me any change or light pooring through the object.
Putting RGB Spectrum nodes in won't change a thing eather. My question is, what am I missing, I've litterely followed tens of tutorials (a lot of Cinema4D tutorials) but it won't help me.
What am I doing wrong or is there a simple example scene out there showing me what to do...
Thanks in advance.

Subsurface Scattering isn't working in Lightwave?

Hi,
Attached you have a sample scene using the scattering medium node and the diffuse material configured to render the SSS shading. All seems to work fine.
Hope this helps,
