Help installing Octane into Cinema 4D R18

- downloaded Octane
- extracted from the Octane-for-C4D-V3.06-win folder
- pasted the folder 'c4doctane' into /Program Files/MAXON/CINEMA 4D R18/plugins
- opened up Cinema
- Octane tab is not there

I am running Windows 10. Graphics card is a GEFORCE GTX 1070.

And forgot to read install notes in readme or from releases topic. You need to update c4d as written.

You also must install the stand-alone Octane application.

Make sure you look through the plugins-folder. You want to use the correct version and not have extra folders/files in your plugin folder. If the actual files you need are nested in sub-folders...it won't work.

Make sure you only have 1 cdl64 file in your c4doctane folder. You need to keep the c4dOctane-R18.cdl64 file and delete the other ones for the older versions of C4D.

I am having the exact same issue. I've gone through all instructions including this. The only additional component is that Octane will show within Cinema, but you can not open the drop down. However it only show if I leave Octane R17 within the plugin....
