Hi all,

Thank you in advance for checking out my situation.

I am trying to create a movie projector that will project a Quicktime movie file onto a wall. I have two questions.

1) As you can see in the attached render, the projected image is quite washed out. I am aware that Octane mimics real world settings and so the ambient light in the room is washing out the projected image. But client wants a projection on the wall of a brightly lit, white, warehouse. Is there a way to cheat it so that the image is bolder, richer, more saturated?

2) How do I set it up so that the QT will animate when I render? So far, I have only been able to set this up to work with a still image. The "projector" that I'm using is the one the brilliant Aoktar (much props) uploaded here: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=42275&hilit=projector&start=10

Thank you very much for any thoughts or suggestions. Have attached project file as well.

1- It's working as in real world. You should not illuminate your projected surface too much by another lights. It will not be much notable if you project to brighter surfaces. Also use better gamma for projected imagetexture and move your light to more away from wall to avoid light reflections.
2- You can't use mov files. You should use image sequences. Just define the in-out ranges as in standard ways.
