Hey guys,

Im trying to distribute several objects onto a plane with Octane scatter, but I can't get them to align properly on the surface. I need them to rotate up 90 degrees so they aren't laying down. With a Mograph cloner I would go over to the transform tab and make the adjustment easily.

I see the Position, Scale, Rotate parameters at the bottom of the distribution menu, but only the X value seems to change their orientation, and not in the direction I need.

I attached the scene file. Could someone take a look? Hopefully im missing something easy.

Thanks!

Any chance you can explain how you did this Toto? I'm coming up against the same issue, I've copied settings from the scene you uploaded but I still can't get my clones to rotate upwards.

You can change the object by rotating it on the point level to face the Y up direction or change the up vector to 180 on the scatter object.
